As one of this years Santander Digital Award winners, I was invited back to the University of Brighton to celebrate alongside other award recipients. It was a very special event because some of the scholarship award recipients had very touching and inspiring stories. Listening to how being awarded a scholarship and the support they required during difficult times has had a very positive impact. For some, they leave the university with the knowledge, tools and experience to help create an impact in their own countries.
